Partner and Co-Manager:  Jonathan has been leading software development companies for over 25 years in the fields of, eLearning, analytics, facilities management systems, sustainability, and serious games.  A compelling and insightful writer and popular keynote speaker, he has presented the concepts and trends of measuring and communicating business value. In his book, Smart Green: How to Implement Sustainable Business Practices in Any Industry and Make Money published by Wiley & Sons in March 2009, Jonathan outlined the key sustainability issues and processes needed to be both sustainable and profitable.  Jonathan has developed training and mentoring systems that can transform the culture in an enterprise with experiential learning and scenario-based action.  Jonathan’s passion is leveraging the power of games to empower individuals to achieve mission goals, drive performance, and inspire innovation.  Moreover, he believes that we need to overcome fear of failure, work more effectively in teams, and solve our most challenging problems through practice. Partner and Co-Manager:  Rick has advised many governments, businesses and financial institutions on sustainability, clean energy, and technology commercialization policies. He provides global clients with advisory and mentoring services on sustainability, clean energy technologies and investments, mergers and acquisitions, project development and business strategies. 

Rick has worked in senior positions in the new and renewable energy sector for over 35 years shaping the market evolution of clean energy and sustainable technologies. He was previously the Head of the New and Renewable Energy Unit at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris, France, responsible for accelerating clean and sustainable energy markets worldwide, as well as coordination of member-country R&D. In that capacity, he was the coordinator of the IEA’s clean technology research collaboration program, and the Secretary of the G8 Renewable Energy Task Force. Rick’s prior professional efforts had to do with accelerating the market expansion of solar PV technology, serving as Deputy Director of the US Solar Energy Industries Association. In that capacity, he was the US solar industry representative on the US DOE’s $100M program to accelerate PV through manufacturing improvements including end-of-life disposal. His current work includes project origination and development of clean and regenerative energy systems.

Partner: With an advanced engineering degree in applied resource sciences from Delft University of Technology, Netherlands, Michiel has over 30 years of experience with industry and government, integrating environmental science, technology, policy, strategy and leadership, coaching, and experiential learning. His passion is to facilitate value-added change toward more agile, resilient, and sustainable practices, always coming from a holistic, systems perspective. He is an expert advisor and project manager with a keen focus on vision, strategy, tactics, and monitoring for demonstrable outcomes. He is also very accomplished in Spiral Dynamics, a practical model to map cultural value and meaning making systems for organizations and individuals. He loves working on cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary technical, organizational, and social innovation initiatives especially around circular economy. He is also very knowledgeable in waste, water pollution, climate and energy matters. He is highly skilled in enabling organizations and individuals to learn, cooperate, innovate, and strategize more effectively and is a trained life and leadership coach.

 Partner: For 20 years Ken worked at a major multinational U.S. corporation in a variety of technical and business roles. His last 8 years were as Director of Sustainable Product Innovation, Worldwide, where he directed the global corporate sustainability program. Following this he worked with the authors of the book “Cradle to Cradle – Remaking the Way We Make Things”, William McDonough and Dr. Michael Braungart. During this time he was Chief of Staff to Mr. McDonough and CEO of their U.S. consulting firm McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC). 

Ken worked directly with manufacturers on transforming their product design/development to become more sustainable and circular. While at MBDC, he also managed the formation and launch of the Green Blue Institute in Charlottesville Virginia where he started the Sustainable Packaging Coalition and also the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute and its product certification program based in San Francisco, California.

Since 2017, as a thought leader, writer, podcaster, speaker & consultant, he advises and mentors organizations, educators and governments in the creation of roadmaps, objectives, goals, strategies and metrics for a sustainable circular economy. Partner: is a Senior Fellow at Worldwatch Institute with specific focus on the application of circular economic thinking and planning in island nations in the Caribbean; he is a Circular Policies Mentor at the Circular Economy Club; and is member of the Renewable Energy and Carbon Management Advisory Group of the Cradle to Cradle Standards Development Advisory Group at the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII) based in San Francisco, CA. In 2016, he co-founded and serves as first Chairman of the Circular Economy Platform of the Americas (CEP-Americas) to continue to contribute to the region’s transition to circular economy. Furthermore, he serves as senior circular economy advisor to UN agencies, IDBs, Governments, and other public and private organizations. 

He developed and managed the U.S. Department of State funded - Closed Looped Cycle Production in the Americas Program where he introduced and led the first regional effort to apply and validate the concepts of Cradle to Cradle®,  Closed Looped Cycle Production, and Circular Economy. He drafted and co-edited Circular Policies for Panama, Ecuador, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, and advised several other nations in the LAC region on the relevance and benefits of the Circular Economy principles for increasing productiveness, competitiveness and sustainability. In July 2019, Kevin was appointed by the Aruba’s Council of Ministers as Circular Economy Ambassador to serve as Senior Circular Economy expert and liaison. Kevin is an Aruban native, speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese next to his native tongues Dutch and Papiamento. He holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Development with specialization in Energy & Materials from the Copernicus Institute at Utrecht University and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Technology with specialization in Waste Management and Wastewater Treatment from the VHL University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.

Partner: Daniel brings 29 years of experience in the moving and storage industry. He comes from trust and transparency and has an interest in solving many of the challenges associated with logistics, supply chains and shared assets, including fragmented data, wasted resources, antiquated coordination tools and misaligned interests throughout the logistics lifecycle. Having built and guided the development of several technology-based solutions that incentivizes safe and efficient behaviors, he hopes to inspire economic incentives for participants who are on-time, trustworthy, and most efficient with resources.
